Yes, that's the only one I've been able to find, and I'm more or less confident I can probably use it, just wanted to double check that there's no 'firmware-eu.boox.com'

I wouldn't do that, but apparently you didn't see any reason not to.
Maybe flash back stock abl?
That abl works though. I was not able to make it work using stock abl.

It isn't being detected at all, I have tried using a USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cable on both Linux (Fedora Workstation 41)(Dell XPS 13 9350) and Windows 11 (Framework Laptop 11 AMD Ryzen 7040).

The bootloader flashed is ablmod.img by AuroraWright
Nothing happens when it is plugged in in the fastboot menu (not even detected as a available port missing driver) and it only disconnects when rebooted to fastboot.
I had a one hour stint with windows11 making it see the device correctly. I ended up having to install https://adb.clockworkmod.com/ to make it work and even then it was finicky. Every time it rebooted it would come up with a different device id and I'd have to force the driver to the correct one.

Not that it was any easier with Aurora. Running an immutable OS makes it quite interesting when you have to install a lot of different tools and have proper access to connected hardware.
