Hi everyone,

I've just updated the main post with the Version 1.1.1 release of the AI Vision Metadata plugin. This includes a couple fixes, mainly for local LLMs.

Improved local LLM JSON parsing to aggressively strip markdown formatting and conversational padding
Added schema validation to detect when models hallucinate keys, replacing silent failures with clear, actionable UI error popups

Thanks for a plugin that could be really useful! Unfortunately, with 1.1.1 I'm getting that same error 'str' object has no attribute 'get' while using LM Studio on Windows, trying multiple LLMs.

Hey thanks for your great work. I did a few runs with the local ollama, and all results were great. So I added the option to skip confirmation. Maybe it's useful to someone who needs to process a large library as I do.

I would love if there would be an option to just add the tags (and leave everything else untouched) for multiple books in a batch operation and without needed to confirm them manually for each book.
That would save so much time, as i have many books where everything else is already done expect the tags.

For the most part, I find the tags from most metadata sources are at best useless. One recent book got ~180 tags, most of which were repetitious, useless or both.

I agree I use my own tags as it is my library for my use who cares what someone else thinks it should be filed under. But the AI could be helpful if you could define your tags and then it tags the books according to your tags automatically.

That is the point: Normal metadata sourced tags are useless. But somehow the tags this plugin produces, are nearly perfect!
