Will there be an appimage?
Hello,
a few years back when I used Windows, I always preferred the portable option because it made more sense for me because all my books were on a separate HDD.

Today I'm using Linux and trying to get the same experience as with a portable, which seems to be almost impossible.
Will there be any appimage of Calibre in the near future?

To my knowledge, there is not an Appimage release, but there is a community maintained Flatpak on Flathub if you'd rather avoid the official installation. You could always package an Appimage if you're able to though.
