searching for book
Hi,

When I search for an author, the books from that author get selected, but all books are still in the list.
With a very big library it take a lot of times to see all the books of that specific author.
Is it possible to search for an author an only see the books from that specific author?

Uncheck this setting: Preferences→Searching→Highlight search results instead of restricting the book list to the results.

I recommend checking the Show a quick toggle button to switch between highlighting and restricting results next to the Search bar setting, the button will be shown in the search bar.

Right-click on one of the books by the author you want. Select "Similar Books > Books by Same Author". There is no step 3.

place the cursor on the Author or Series or Publisher and tap 'Q' (Quickview)

Welcome to Calibre, where you can get there by more than one method.
