last was 7.26, any release 9,xx would be great for these machines that, IMMO are aging very well,
I mean just one release, maybe paid thanks in advance

calibre macos releases are universal binaries they run on intel or arm natively

yes, you're damn right.
If you are using macOS older than 14.0 (Sonoma), the last version of calibre that will work on your machine is 7.26 it's my machine that can't be updated. So, compiling for older releases is not feasable? Or may I use it anyway? thanks |

Nope its not feasible, its not calibre itself but its dependencies in particular Qt that cause the issue.
