I made a small site to help find KOReader plugins using natural language.
Instead of searching for the name of a feature or a specific plugin, you can just describe what you want, for example: "I want to sync my highlights between two devices" The AI will look through the KOReader plugin catalogue and suggest the plugins that match, with a short explanation of why. You can ask in English, Turkish, Chinese, etc. and it will answer in the same language. It only uses plugins from the actual catalogue, so it can't invent plugins. Abandoned or undocumented plugins are also excluded. If there isn't a good match, it should say so. https://omer-faruq.github.io/koreade...in-index/?ai=1 It runs entirely in your browser. You provide your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, etc.), so I don't have a server that receives your key or questions. The cost is roughly 1/3 of a cent per query, depending on the model. You can also use the site without an API key as a regular plugin search page. The catalogue is rebuilt nightly from the same GitHub topics used by the KOReader AppStore plugin, so very new plugins may take a day to appear. Source: https://github.com/omer-faruq/koreader-plugin-index By the way, the site itself was also built with the help of AI. |
