If given a choice between physical or kindle books, I will buy physical books. I like the smell of the books. If there is no choice, then I will buy kindle. I don't buy audio books.

No. While I do like the covers, Ebooks are very convenient.

Although I will prefer an e-book if its print counterpart has print that is too small, a printed book is more pleasant to read over tea.

I would find that the opposite. Give that MMPB no longer exist. You would been to hold a hardcover or TPB with two hands. My Libra 2 I can hold with one hand. I can even use the origami cover as a stand. If I was reading a pBook, I'd not be able to eat.

Of course good quality hardcovers don’t actually need to be held open - either with one hand or two. They lie flat on the table when opened.

![]() I grew up as the sort of child who would always have a book open on the table next to her at mealtimes, so I got used to it I suppose. That said, I don’t really do it these days; I read a lot less as is, and I mostly eat breakfast & lunch at my desk while working instead, and combine later meals with watching TV. And of course when you eat with a knife and fork, you won’t really have a spare hand to hold up a book anyway, regardless of whether it takes one hand or two... |

![]() I would hold the book and read, but once the food came, I was too busy eating. I was always a skinny kid with a high metabolism. I would be so hungry it hurt. I was shoveling the food in too fast to read. Now I read on my Surface pro, and it has a stand, so I can put it at a best angle for me. And because of my age my metabolism has slowed down some and I am no longer rail thin. ![]() Apache |
