Biblioman Metadata Source Plugin

Biblioman downloads metadata and covers from https://biblioman.chitanka.info, the Biblioman catalogue for Bulgarian books from Chitanka.

Features:
- searches by Biblioman ID, ISBN, title, and author
- downloads title, authors, publisher, year, ISBN, comments, tags, series, and language
- downloads cover images
- stores a biblioman identifier in Calibre

Minimum Calibre version:
6.0.0

Supported platforms:
Windows, macOS, Linux

Tested on:
Linux

The plugin is pure Python and should work on all Calibre-supported desktop platforms. Please report platform-specific issues in this thread.

Installation:
1. Download the attached zip file.
2. In Calibre, open Preferences -> Plugins.
3. Click Load plugin from file.
4. Select the downloaded zip.
5. Restart Calibre.
6. Enable Biblioman under metadata download sources if needed.

Biblioman Calibre plugin 0.2.0

Search improvements
- Search Biblioman with the plain title instead of unsupported combined title-and-author queries.
- Validate title matches locally across title and subtitle fields, then rank multiple matches by author.
- Use the dedicated author search only as a fallback, checking pages progressively and stopping at the first page with a matching title.

Series metadata
- Prefer Biblioman author series and its number over publisher sequence when populating Calibre Series.
- Add the Download series metadata option. It is disabled by default, so existing manually curated Calibre series are preserved until you explicitly enable it.

Quality
- Add mocked unit tests for search flow, pagination, series mapping, and configuration.
- Run unit tests in the release workflow before packaging the plugin.
