Browser based Conversion app for manga/comics with live preview function

Hi all,

I built MangaConverter, a browser-based converter for manga and comics: https://mangaconverter.com

It runs Kindle Comic Converter (KCC) server-side, so the output is KCC output, but there is nothing to install. I made it because I kept wanting to convert something when I was not at the machine with KCC on it: phone, work laptop, someone else's computer.

What it does:

- Drop a CBZ, CBR, CB7, ZIP, RAR, PDF or EPUB, pick your device, download an EPUB, MOBI, KEPUB or repacked CBZ
- Live preview of the converted pages before you convert, updating as you change margins, dithering, splitting or reading direction
- Around 35 device profiles: Kindle models, Kobo with proper KEPUB, reMarkable, PocketBook, Onyx and others
- All the KCC options exposed, so if you already know the flags you can set them directly
- Batch queue for whole volume runs
- Recovers files that usually fail outright: partially damaged archives and archives nested inside archives

It is free to use. Files are deleted from the server within 24 hours. If you would rather nothing left your own network, the whole thing is open source and self-hostable with Docker: https://github.com/NilsLeo/kcc-cloud

Credit where it is due: the conversion quality is KCC's work, not mine. If the desktop app fits your setup, use it, it is the better tool for a proper workstation workflow. I have contributed a few fixes back upstream while building this (the unrar one that only worked on Fedora, and a crash on archives that wrap all pages in a single subfolder), with a couple more open.
