■ New features
- Toolbar Tap Area. Choose where a tap opens the toolbar in books, comics and PDFs, and drag the area to the size you like. It can also be outlined on the page while the toolbar is open.
- Faster Calibre browsing. Your Calibre library opens right away, even with thousands of books, and you can sort, filter and see series and tags.
- Line Focus. Step the guide by half a screen with a tap, and come back to the exact line you left.
- Link Color. Pick your own link color for each color preset.
- Book descriptions. Edit a book's description right in Edit Book.
- New Help topics on supported formats, deleting books and the subscription, with search and a way to reach support.

■ Improvements
- Books open much faster. A large EPUB went from about 8 seconds to under one.
- Whole rows in the reader lists are tappable, not only the text.
- Buttons look and work the same everywhere, and they follow larger text sizes.
- Reading speed ignores the page jumps that come from syncing, so the number matches how you really read.
- Closing the Calibre book list no longer goes through your library when nothing was downloaded.
- Preparing a book for Read Aloud keeps running when you lock the screen or leave the app, on iOS 26.

■ Fixes
- Fixed a crash a few seconds after launch while Read Aloud was preparing a book.
- Fixed the app staying in landscape after you closed a book.
- Fixed losing your place when you closed a book and opened it again right away.
- Fixed the close and rotate buttons ignoring the first tap in landscape.
- Fixed a swipe at the top of the page jumping a whole chapter.
- Fixed Cantonese books offering only Mandarin voices for Read Aloud.
- Fixed Calibre problems: duplicate books, a server error read as an empty library, and books without a date.
- Fixed the reader toolbar on small screens. It now fits on an iPhone SE and in a slim window on iPad, and it no longer covers the reading bar at the bottom of the page.
- Fixed the pages left, the chapter name and the bookmark titles in books that split one chapter across several files.
- Fixed the table of contents numbering only the parts, not the chapters inside them.

■ Accessibility
- Bigger tap targets in the reader lists and on the close and rotate buttons.
- Buttons keep their shape at accessibility text sizes.

■ Localization
- All the new text is natively translated across all 17 supported languages.
