Calibre on a "blind" server

Hi all,
one of the biggest limitation of Calibre is that is not possible tu run it on a monitorless server. There is no web interface to access to the full functions of Calibre.

I'm developing a solution, called CaliBridge, to support Calibre even in remote.
I'm looking for a couple of beta tester for suggestions and bug finding.

Thanks for your help

You are looking for an expression "headless server".

The calibre content server which you can run on a headless server provides a web interface that allows you to do most things already

I tried your UI for a few minutes and it looks fine, although I could not see how to convert books and in the reader there are a whole bunch of missing features such as annotations, TTS, etc etc.

I still dont know what feature you are actually missing from the builtin content server, other than downloading metadata every feature I could find in your web UI is also available in the builtin content server interface. That said, if you want to develop your own UI far be it from me to discourage you, go for it.

Remote access software (such as VNC) would work.

I installed Calible in a server without graphic capability. VNC in useless in a such environment.
The solution I’m developing is a full access to Calibre vith a Calibre-like interface, with some extra (AI driven metadata handling is just an example)

If you look at the screenshot I posted, you’ll notice that is not a Calibre screenshot.

If you like to test CaliBridge you’re welcome.
