Here is the translated post:
Errors in operation of a plugin in Sigil 2.8.0 and following When a file is saved after you have modified it with the writefile(id, txt) utility of the Sigil plugins, the order of the files in the File Explorer is modified and the content.opf file is filled with errors. -- end translation My answer: There is no file explorer in Sigil. Did you mean BookBrowser? My tests show no problem with the plugins that record the changes made to the files. It is therefore something specific to your machine or your plugin code. So we need more information. Please attach your plugin to this thread that generates the problem so that we can recreate it if possible. And my reply translated: No hay explorador de archivos en Sigil. ¿Te referías a BookBrowser? |

You're going to need to provide some more info. I can't reproduce your problem. I've tried several plugins that utilize writefile(ident, html) and the order of files in Book Browser does not change, and nothing in the opf file changes. I've tried using Sigil 2.8.0 and 2.8.1.
Which plugins are you using that are doing this? Perhaps the plugins in questions are not written correctly? Quote:

I tried my Access Aide plugin and made a bunch of changes to an old epub to add in missing alt tags and it saved and worked with no problems.
It uses that same bk.writefile() interface. So I can not recreate this either. And I tried with Sigil 2.8.0 and Sigil 2.8.1 and even my own repo build and not one problem. |

I would think the vast majority of edit plugins out there are going to be using bk.writefile().
It sounds to me like something in the plugin the OP is using is making unwise edits to the opf file itself. |

It would be a good idea if you gave the name of one of these plugins that causes the problem.

For all we know, it could be a plugin they're currently creating. We just don't have enough to go on yet.

I just hope this is not someone who has no idea how to program in python that just let AI loose without any oversight or review!
So yes, the name of the plugin and where they downloaded it from would be a good start. |
