Next version will have a button in the downloads library to get a newer version of the file if available.

I installed 1.6.2, and it's getting better and better
![]() I love how you can now select VL from the main interface ![]() Just a warning: the VL filter can't be applied if VLs have been created through this plugin https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=371238 The error returned is that "VL uses a filter that can be applied: id is not a supported search field" If they are created "normally", it works as expected, instead. I also love the new option of marking books as finished/reading/not read. I was wondering if there could be a way to automatically set a book as "finished" if it's marked as finished in calibre (no overriding in all other cases). I know calibre doesn't have a standard column for the status, so I guess it could be a bit tricky because any user may have a different system/custom column (for some it may be a y/n, for others a %, for others again a text field), but I'll throw the idea around in case it's somehow feasible ![]() In any case, great job, this app is great (Now I just need to find a good companion app for reading and annotating what I read, but that's another matter )

I'll see what I can do. I want to clean up the sorting and filtering. too many options and rows for small devices.
Have you tried readest? It's what I use. But I have considered making a reading app as well. |

That plugin is working just fine for me. It might be because I'm using one of my test builds, but I don't think so. I wonder if it's some kind of language glitch. Let's see if it works on the next release. Thanks for pointing me to that plugin though. It's very cool and useful.

Feature request for #collana
In my calibre I have two columns to categorize my ebooks:
-one is "series" to define ebooks which are part of the same story (example: Harry Potter) or have the same character in it (example: Hercule Poirot) -the other one is "#collana" to define a collection of books from one specific publisher (examples: Urania is a collection of SciFi books from publisher Mondadori, or Delos Crime is a collection of Thriller books from publisher Delos, etc.) - the "#collana" column has a number just like the "series" one Your app make visibile only the "series" column but not the "#collana" one. I also checked the settings, but that column is not in the list of columns to show. Is it possible to implement such kind of columns? Thank you!

If you go under sync in the settings, while in that library, there is a custom colums section.
Does your column show up there? does it use the # in the column? |

Anyway, I'll check once the new version is out if the issue persists ![]() Quote:
![]() (btw, it's great how you can pick which columns to use, so not to clog the interface. I wonder if it's possible to exclude also "standard" calibre columns, and not just custom ones) |

Composite columns can't show without a lot of work. They are created by Calibre as I understand it. So I would have to build a way to make columns inside LibriLink to sort of rebuild them. But while trying to solve your problem, I did find some other issues with the columns that will be fixed in the next build. And I like your idea of removing built-in columns. I'll see what I can do.

As I said, that column doesn't show up there. I attach the list of 7 custom columns I have in calibre and the screenshot from your app which shows only 3 of those. #collana is the one I need the most.
