upgrade. We will release on Monday what, beside epub, will come with the new

So on Monday they're going to confirm the "feature list" of the update... and they've already confirmed we're getting epub format support?

To me that's fantastic news. As far as I understand epub is starting to become the "default" format for electronic books. And on Monday (well, let's say Wednesday) I'll get to find out if we're getting folder support or not!

We will find out if we will have mobi and if if they dropped mobi-drm or if we are to choose between 2 firmware-versions.
Sight, sadly that does also mean the new firmware is not arround the corner, otherwise they would have simply waited for a few days and then posted the feature list with the firmware...

I believe at some point they said charging while reading was to be a feature too. Does the Weltbild build support this?

I believe there is some sneaky method that you can use to read while charging - something involving the "slide show" feature. To be honest, though, I charge so rarely that it's never been an issue. Probably different for those who leave their CyBook permanently switched on, though.

Yes, it can be done. Switch to slide show mode. Wait until a slide has just changed*, and plug in. Switch out of slide show mode. Ta-da!

*Perhaps not strictly necessary, but when doing it this way I've never had it switch to the "connected" screen which I did sometimes get before doing it this way.
