Question New Kindle Voyage
I found a brand new, still unopened in its box Kindle Voyage eReader, complete with a brand new, still unopened in its box charger in my storage.

I haven't had an Amazon account in almost four years now as I had Amazon close it. Is there any point in trying to use this Kindle Voyage, or should I just toss it? I imagine that it's not supported any longer.

The Voyage is still supported in the sense that you can download and read your Kindle ebooks on it. It no longer receives software updates. And of course you can sideload ebooks in various Kindle formats to it.

You can still sign into an Amazon account and read books from the kindle store or USB load books.

This is still the only Kindle with the best laminated screen! Only gripe is that it is missing a warm light.
Your options are:
1) Sell it unopened for a fortune on an auction
2) Use it as is with Amazon account
3) Jailbreak it and use with KOReader to read books without DRM.

Calibre conversion of epub or whatever to azw3/KF8 after manually fixing stupid stuff works better than KOReader unless it's improved since I last used it on Android eink and Kobo.

A little more on topic…. If you do jailbreak and install KOreader, you can use the invert feature to read white text on a dark background, a feature otherwise not available on the Voyage.

I agree with others- it had the best (though fragile) screen, with the best contrast and sharpness. And the haptic page turn buttons were fantastic, allowing a gentle squeeze to activate.
