You don't transfer books manually from where the app stores them. You run the archiver (bundled with the deDRM plugin) via command line and it transfers the files to the archived folder, from where you add them to calibre.

I don't suppose you can explain the new method to deDRM? The method I have been using doesn't work anymore.

It’s crazy that it’s just easier to pirate your own books instead of removing the drm.

I explained it as much as we can here. Detailed instructions aren't allowed on MR.

It just hurts to see someone lost when you just had to go through the same process to piece things together. I understand the forum position, obviously.

Of course. I've been in a difficulty myself, as I'm no IT person at all. But the rules are what they are.

This. You don't need to dig into the hidden folder or bother with that at all. The archiver knows where to get them.

Go here and ask for explicit directions.

Not always. You have to find a site with eBooks and then you have to find the eBook you want in a format you can deal with. And once you download it (providing you found it), you have to see if it's in good enough shape to convert and/or read.

And that assumes you find where this book is hiding out in the wild if it even is.

Removing the DRM can be a lot easier.

Let's say I wanted to read Seeing Red in Gretna Green by Linzi Day. Can you find it out in the wild?

Took me about a minute. Almost a retail edition too (converted, but very good quality).

I forgot how to find the Windows Kindle for PC downloaded book files and I searched this thread but cannot find the post explaining how to do that. I would appreciate it if you can repeat how to find the files. Thanks!
