Is there a way to show the total size of all books selected?

When I select a tag or collection, the number of books is displayed in the left of the bottom footer: i.e. n books of y books, 1 selected (or more). What I'd like to be able to see is n books of y books (x GB of zGB).

I couldn't see any setting in preferences? Is there a plug-in to do this?

IMO, that would be cool if it could be implemented as instantaneous data display. That would require caching information. Cached information is ephemeral - book formats can be added, removed, modified file-size wise.

There is the 'Sum Column' plugin. The original developer left, but there is a working version in this post:

Does exactly what I need. I'm looking at splitting my library onto multiple devices, and I want to use my old 2GB Kobo Touch as well as the two Formas. The number of books is one thing, but I need to take into account the relative sizes as well.
