Is it possible downgrade a Palma?
Just update my palma 1st gen from 4.0.2 to 4.2 and get terrible text ghosting.
So, is it possbile to revert the firmware back?

Does the downgrade will cause a boot loop or something?

Here is a pic after upgrade to 4.2. I never seen such a text ghosting on other devices.

In the settings, the system can recognize the old firmware and also can enter the update process, but after the system process the package nothing happened. and the touch screen seems to freeze after the system process the package, touch will not work but scroll up and down is ok, i have to adb reboot the device.

Then you're fighting anti-rollback.
You'd need a custom recovery to do that.
I don't have one for the original Palma right now.
