Edit: Yay!! seems like by changing the fingeprint in the script to the latest official 4.0.2 firmware, it proposed me the 4.2. It's an incremental check! So you basically need to input the fingerprint of your actual version to grab the update.

It works as long as you enter you MAC address.

On the regular release output, my MAC address field was cleared.

On the beta, they kept my MAC address and associated it to a "White list".

I am trying to flash my Tab8c with MiniC firmware but I cannot find ADB sideload option in recovery, I figured I would need a custom recovery but have no luck locating one. If you know where can I find one please let me know.

I flashed using firmware 4.2 English and it shows error applying update: 7 (kInstallDeviceOpenError). My current firmware is 4.2 (China version). How to get rid of this error?

Could the reason be the current firmware is 4.1.1/4.2 and your custom rec is based on previous firmware?
