Tolino Vision Color and older Calibre version 6.xx
Hey,
I'm running Calibre 6.29 since I read that's the version to use if you want to run the DeDRM plugin. Everything works fine with my Pocketbook eReader in this setup. Since the Pocketbook is so miserable to use however I got a Tolino Vision Color, and while the device is really nice and all, Calibre won't recognize it. After a quick troubleshooting it seems to me that the Calibre version is too old and lacks the necessary drivers. That's something I really didn't expect would happen...Sideloading is super important for me, is there any way to get the necessary driver into Calibre 6.29 via plugin or something? Or do I have to nuke the Tolino software and make it a Kobo - will it work that way with the old Calibre? (I wouldn't mind either way I think, the Kobo software looks nice and I never buy books on the reader but only on my phone anyway). |
