I'm reading some from Epic/Marvel, (well, when I'd bought the Pocketbook Color 3 it was fullfilled of comics); there are some on Internet Archive, also (not sure if I can say that here).
Some are on ebay cheap, then there are others that are super-overpriced both on ebay or Amazon (like 800$?).
Glad that you like it ! I have no words to say how great he is.
We luckily have those collections on the physical public library, too, probably searching on those nearby yours may work also.
Oh yeah, I've kinda given up on tracking any down. I think whoever owned Heavy Metal magazine commissioned a bunch of Moebius translations back in the day, and my guess is they're the ones who own the rights, hence why we've not seen any digital or re-releases. I found a bunch of them uploaded to The Internet Archive, so, that'll have to be what I use for the foreseeable future. It's just frustrating when you search for him on Amazon and see "Arzach USA"...in French.

I happened to visit Paris this past year and picked up several hardcover Moebius volumes for myself and family while I was browsing a local comic shop. That at least makes me feel better about the piracy.

EDIT: Nope, I guess I should've read the Wiki article. It's those "Collected Fantasies of Jean Giraud" under the Epic/Marvel Imprint...which makes me even more annoyed because Marvel should still have the rights to those and could release them digitally if they wanted to!

When clicking on the link, to me sometimes it also redirects to (e.g.) Amazon.it, doing the search on Amazon.com instead would give other results.

The mini serie (5 books) of the shorts; "Batman Black & White" is @ $0.00 on Amazon.

The Deep Dark: A Graphic Novel by Lee Knox Ostertag is $2 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)
Quote:
From Molly Knox Ostertag, writer-illustrator of the New York Times and ABA Indie bestselling The Witch Boy trilogy and The Girl from the Sea, comes a darkly beautiful story of identity, family, love, loss, and magic.

Everyone has secrets. Mags’s has teeth.

Magdalena Herrera is about to graduate high school, but she already feels like an adult with serious responsibilities: caring for her ailing grandmother; working a part-time job; clandestine makeouts with a girl who has a boyfriend. And then there’s her secret, which pulls her into the basement each night, drains her of energy, and leaves her bleeding. A secret that could hurt and even kill if it ever got out -- like it did once before.

So Mags keeps her head down, isolated in her small desert community. That is, until her childhood friend Nessa comes back to town, bringing vivid memories of the past, an intoxicating glimpse of the future, and a secret of her own. Mags won’t get attached, of course. She’s always been strong enough to survive without anyone’s help.

But when the darkness starts to close in on them both, Mags will have to drag her secret into the daylight, and choose between risking everything... or having nothing left to lose.

The seven volumes of Concrete (Concrete) by Paul Chadwick are $4 each in the US (Kobo, Amazon)
Quote:
Part man, part…rock? Over seven feet tall and weighing over a thousand pounds, he is known as Concrete but is in reality the mind of one Ronald Lithgow, trapped inside a shell of stone, a body that allows him to walk unaided on the ocean's floor or survive the crush of a thousand tons of rubble in a collapsed mineshaft…but prevents him from feeling the touch of a human hand.

These stories of Concrete are as rich and satisfying as any in comics: funny, heartbreaking, and singularly human. Depths, the first in a series of collections reprinting the classic early Concrete stories along with never-before-collected short stories, includes the Eisner-nominated "Orange Glow" and "Vagabond," Paul Chadwick's autobiographical account of a cross-country hitchhiking trip.

Drome by Jesse Lonergan is $3 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)
Quote:
A 3x Eisner Award Nominee!
Drome is a miracle of a book.” –The Washington Post

**“**One of the best books of the year.” —Booklist, starred review
Jesse Lonergan’s Drome is the front-runner for 2025 book of the year. A true must read. **—**The Beat
“Brilliant; thoughtful; inspiring but impossible to imitate. A complete original.” —Mike Mignola

Jesse Lonergan rewrites the rules of graphic novels with Drome, a visually mind-blowing epic about war, love, and death in a fledgling world.

First, there was nothing. Then, humanity was born, and an endless cycle of violence began. From the depths of the ocean, a mighty demigoddess is called forth to rein in humankind’s destructive impulses, and teach a language of peace and harmony. Civilization quickly takes root, a great city rising from the desert. But the balance between chaos and order is a fragile one, and there are higher powers at work in this strange new world.

Creator Jesse Lonergan pushes the boundaries of the comics medium in this visually spectacular epic. In turns pulse-pounding and heart-wrenching, Drome is a creation myth for the modern age.

Did you try downloading with Kobo desktop? I bought a non-downloadable graphic novel (On the Ropes by James Vance and Dan E. Burr) and I was able to download it with Kobo Desktop on Windows 11.

I don't have Kobo desktop installed, but will try later.

I'm in communication with Dark Horse, who say that it's a policy of them not to allow downloads (even though it's applied inconsistently), but they'll back to me in a few days.

Kobo have offered a refund, but I'll wait to see what the publisher says.

Quote:
Adapted from Mo Xiang Tong Xiu’s bestselling danmei series, STARember’s abridged print edition adorns Xie Lian’s journey with a gown of gorgeous paintings. I would just like to say that I don't know which features the Kindle devices have; reading it throughout the browser looks like the manga has been edited merging two pages at once, although is possible to use its panel to panel feature which is really, really great (browsing the pages shows the panels as the attachment 3 previously than the 4th).
Edit: each volume's chapter, from page 25 becomes in black and white.
Edit2: lol from one of its digital retailers (BookWalker):

A very good comics bundle from Les Humanoïdes Associés: 30 series plus 4 standalones.

https://www.humblebundle.com/books/h...umanoids-books

151 comics for around £15.50. And it looks like there will be a Part 2.
