P365 here. This also explains why I have problems with touching upper right corner for bookmark not working sometimes. But, if I enable Bluetooth, it takes a lot to power on when sleeping. I guess I just have to wait for an update, hoping they will do something.

After a particurarly frustratring reading session, I was wondering if there is an update on workarounds.

Yes. I've spent far too much time trying to figure out this issue, and even returning my P365 under warranty (only to get another P365 back!)

I think I posted one workaround already. Turn WiFi and Bluetooth on. It works for me. But beware: the next reboot you'll get latest software updates installed, which I think kind of sucks.

Cheers!

I've not read that firmware 4.45.23697 is a problem.

That's the firmware on mine. It is indeed still a problem.

Based on the date of Reddit posts, this issue has been known for close to a year. Perhaps longer, that's just the oldest post I found. I doubt any Kobo dev is actively working on this. I doubt it's even on their radar. (1) People who leave their WiFi and Bluetooth permanently disabled are a minority of users. (2) Fixing this bug doesn't sell more content. Don't hold your breath.

In my case al least, keeping Bluetooth on makes my P365 take 6 seconds to wake up from sleep. That's why I was looking for news.
