Last night at this time (9 pm) the temp was > 90 F
Tonight it is 77 F - actually feels chilly - but incredibly humid - major thunderstorms rolled through this afternoon.

It made it to the predicted 23°C high today but down to 18°C now. Tomorrow will stay sunny but a bit warmer. Overall, very pleasant weather.

I think we've made up on the drought in the last 2 nights' torrential rainfalls - tis the season for pop-up very slow moving thunderstorms with rain so dense you can't see across the street

We've had a couple of average summer days; temperature between 22℃ and 25℃, some sun, but a lot of clouds and a breeze.

From tomorrow temperatures will creep up again and until at least the 18th it'll be between 27℃ and 31℃, although it might get warmer. Chances of another official heatwave are high.

At work it turns out we don't have (adequate) air-conditioning at all. The things on the ceiling are mostly to warm up the place, though they can blow "cooler" air, but it's not enough to actually cool down the place. Before the refurbishment we had open refrigerators, which have been replaced with ones with doors (more energy efficient). However, those old refrigerators cooled the place down pretty effectively. Our manager is trying to find a solution, but he already said it might take a while. He's encouraging us cashiers to have a water bottle with us so we can stay hydrated.

21°C and more sun than clouds. A very nice day for an early morning walk and going to be a nice day for an afternoon walk after I finish my online certification test.

Since I still keep my hand in doing some part-time work, I keep some of my certifications up to date. I suspect that I am much like many people who find most certifications less than useful but they still impress some people. Over my career in IT, some of the most unbelievable decisions were made by people who had multiple certifications but missed the one for common sense.
