I've looked into this, and a recent related request to disable menu opening on swipe.

Without any extended testing, this works for me on Sage and Forma for firmware 4.38.23697.

Code:
#killswipes

Yes, (to clarify) not showing any series with one book and tapping only to swipe pages are 2 very different things.

I'll add this to the patches for 4.38.23697 when I post. But before I can post this, I need two things done. I need to know which patch file these patches belong in and I need a better description. As it is, this will make no sense to most people.

I've put it in my libnickel.so.1.0.0.yaml.

As for the description, I think it's already pretty factual and precise. Maybe change the comment from #killswipes to #disable swipe gesture. Feel free change it if you can think of something better.

I don't know which section to ask. Is there any way to wake the Libra 2 when pressing the scroll buttons? I know this works in the settings of the latest Libra Color firmware, but I couldn't find it in devmode on the Libra 2. The lack of this feature is annoying after inserting the reader into CleepCover, which blocks access to the power button when folded.

Using the buttons to wake the device is only supported on the Kobo Libra Colour. Why not use the sleepcover to wake the Libra 2?

BTW, since you need to hold the button to trigger the wake, closing and reopening the sleepcover is faster for me.

If I step away from the Kobo for 30 minutes, I have to pick up the book, unhook the SleepCover cover with its strong magnet, and close it with the SleepCover. It's not very convenient I'm even thinking about using a different magnet for this. On the other hand, if they do update the firmware for the Libra 2, it seems like some features in Kobopatch will stop working, like "My 24 line spacing values," which I use. Anyway, thanks, I thought maybe I missed some patch that could fix this problem.

You have it incorrect. When the cover open, just move the front away from the back without closing the cover fully. Then you have access to press the power button.

By the way, another possible solution: chinese marketplaces sell cheap remote controls for Kobo for a few dollars. A long press on the large button turns the reader on/off (оf course, I'm not sure what exactly that means). The remote control itself can still be useful.

I'm going to guess that this doesn't work.
