Have you tried reading a web page while approaching Warp 9.99?

Wouldn't the difficulty depend on how fast Warp 9.99 is? Plus, since the computer and you would be travelling at the same relative speed (actually not moving relatively) wouldn't it be the same as it would be when not moving?

Given that Warp 9.99 is ~7,912 times the speed of light and the subspace communication network depends on relay stations with a speed from 60 to 180,00 times light speed, what are the chances that you would have a decent low latency connection when cruising at Warp 9.99?

Latency? What latency? Would you be able to physically see at that speed?

Since everything on the ship is moving at the same speed when wouldn't the latency be the same between the User and his/her computer on the same ship?

Would this apply at superluminary speeds?

Was the original question not about reading a web page at that speed?
Would that not require a connection to an external source unless the page was locally cached? Would that connection to an external source not be subject to latency? Would Socrates be proud of us? |

Can that web page be offline, like, the entire Wiki, (alongside the entire Arch Wiki), some DRM comics and graphic novels, some billions of (Adobe DRM) books.... does it comes something other in mind?
Books of recipes? Videogames? No, that's distracting. Magazines? |

Does it make one wonder what kind of storage is used that every starship has a complete copy of the entire interstellar Internet being kept updated as fast as possible?

Could it be that there is one massive repository of information, and a Starship's Computer can just tap into the source and receive the requested data at ludicrous speeds?

Would that not require a consistent high speed connection which subspace communication does not offer outside of the more populated areas.

Could it be that they store the data on each Starship in a small pocket dimension that can be accessed by the Ship's Computer (much like the inside of The Doctor's TARDIS)?
