If you downgrade the plugin to the previous version, the broken pipe message is gone.

So found out it was a error on the zip file, nothing to do with the code. Make a new release with the fixed zip.

Please take a look at the thread: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh....php?p=4594661
It was caused by the latest update of this plugin.

In that thread I mentioned copying a working Epub to a different folder and renaming it caused it to be unable to be opened by calibre viewer. Now I can specify that renaming had nothing to do with it. Simply duplicating the file would be enough. Likewise any newly downloaded Epub also couldn't be opened.

Okay, enough.
