I rooted my go7 bw yesterday and the ablmod I and my friend made for the Air 5c works as-is.
What I did:
- backed everything up via edl (using the palma 2 pro loader)
- used open settings https://github.com/plateaukao/OpenSettings/releases to launch android settings, unlocked/opened developer settings, enabled OEM unlocking
- used edl again to flash the ablmod to both abl partitions
- rebooted to bootloader (on the go 7 nothing shows up on screen but the abl is still running fine) and ran "fastboot flashing unlock", "fastboot flashing unlock_critical", "fastboot erase userdata". And finally "fastboot reboot". On reboot it will say it can't boot and ask to factory format, let it do that
- installed magisk app and used it to patch boot.img, rebooted to bootloader, flashed it with "fastboot flash boot"
- created my boox-ams-fix module and flashed it as per the instructions on github

Thank you very much! It was pretty easy.

I used Zorin OS to unlock my Go 7 BW, doing the backup of important partitions, flashed the ablmod, typed the fastboot commands, reboot and done. It took me less than 30 min.

SO: Zorin OS 18.1
Boox Go 7, 4.2-rel
Magisk 30.7 // Apatch. You need to edit your services.jar in order to get magisk o apatch working.

Also, I replace Google GMS with MicroG.
