The results of the MRI came back today. As it turns out, for the past almost three months, my wrist has been .... not sprained .... broken. Multiple fractures that the xray did not pick up.

So, now the doctor and I understand exactly why I am still in pain. And here I'd taken off the splint because (1) I was sick of the damned thing and (2) I kept telling myself that if I didn't make that hand work, and work hard, it would never get any better.

Lovely.

Damn. I am so sorry, but not surprised, to hear that. To be in pain after so long is just not normal.

So, what is the treatment now? A splint again?

Ouch! When I broke my arm at the elbow, I was in agony -- how have you lived with that for three months?! You must have a high pain threshold or serious drugs. I hope the doctor can get it sorted out properly this time. Let us know how you get on.

The one day that I dont get up "early" and dont dress - the janitor rings and wants to have a look at the bath because the neighbour in the flat directly beneath mine complains about a wet wall. (It's actually a damage with my tub (not my fault )).

I'm not too sure which is worse, the broken wrist or the fact it took 3 months for an MRI scan to yield its result...

Either way you have my sympathy and hope that all can now be sorted ....

Hmm .. are computer mice or keyboards yummy? Or should I try external harddrives or speaker? There are some potted plants - but I guess by boss likes them (and they are either thorny or look poisonous (or just mean!)) and would be sad if I ate them. I've already tried a CD, but its neither nutritious nor yummy.

I am hungry. REALLY hungry. It's raining like mad and I forgot my jacket, umbrella and lunch at home. What to do?

I'm alone in the office (otherwise I wouldnt have access to so many mice, I mean - they could object to me eating their input devices!)
(Oh and forgetting jacket+umbrella is easy - have a look out of the window and decide "its a fine day, wont rain". Then going to work. Forgetting lunch is a bit harder, but I managed )
AND the refrigerator is empty. The freezer as well .. D*mned.
