Do I remember correctly that the white Libra Colour has a higher-capacity battery than the black one? Or is that a figment of my imagination?

Thanks, Jon, but that isn't the question I asked. I know the Libra Colour has a higher-capacity battery than the Libra 2.

But I seem to recall reading that the Libra Colour white has a higher capacity than the Libra Colour black, and I'm looking for verification or refutation of that.

The Libra Colour black and white have the same capacity battery. However, the Libra Colour was quietly upgraded from the N428 that has a 2,050 mAh battery to the N428B which has a 2,300 mAh battery. The only difference is the battery.

I remember reading about this and finally tracked down this info. It seems it was not the Kobo Libra Colour, but a different model:

"Kobo is the company that released an e-reader—the Kobo Clara Colour—with different battery capacities depending on the casing color.The original black model features a 1,500 mAh battery, while the later-released white version comes with a larger 1,900 mAh battery to accommodate extended frontlight usage."
