Pretty standard location for a Windows Store app. Even nicer, the C:\Program Files\WindowsApps directory where the executables live has permissions set to make looking at the files very difficult. It's actually easier to copy the directory else where and then look at the structure.

What do you see when you look at your content page on the Amazon webpage? What devices does it show those books on? Are you still logged into Legacy Kindle for PC on the same computer?

What good is copying the eBooks elsewhere if they have DRM?

After I last installed the new Windows Store Kindle app, I only had about 1/2 of my content showing. I kept the app open while I was trying to figure out the problem. I even asked here. But when I went back the the app, it had updated to show all of the content. So I removed the posted about not seeing everything.

You can create a shortcut in Windows Explorer for your Kindle Content. But I actually see no reason to visit your Kindle content unless you are deleting the entire directory structure.

The new Kindle app shows where your Kindle Reader shows.

I remember having issues years ago when I had the old Windows store Kindle app and Kindle for PC on the same computer. Haven't install the new one.

Now I'm embarrassed. I bought those nine books from Kobo. I thought it was Amazon.

I have the Windows Store app and the 2.9.1 version. Soon the 2.9.1 version won't work. So you won't have any need for both as only the Windows Store version will work if you have Windows 11.

The batch file does not copy anything anywhere, it just makes it easier to see how many books have been downloaded. One acquaintance of mine has twice now found that where he thought 10 books were downloaded yet when he checked the Content directory, only 9 had been downloaded. He ended up at Amazon's Manage Your Content page and having to select his Kindle for Windows device to send the book to. Oddly, his Legacy Kindle device on the same computer got the book without issue.
