Troubleshooting [PW1] Refuses to start Kual

The time has arrived.
After loosing the access to the Send-To-Kindle feature I decided to jailbreak my PW1 and use Wallabag way to be able to receive RSS and www content to my ereader.


jailbreaking has gone succesfully after I downgraded the firmware to 5.4.4

but there is no way I start the KUAL from kindlemodding.org

i used Update_KUALBooklet_HDRepack.bin.

;log mrpi worked fine.

But when I click Kual in my booklist it displays upper bar only.
and there is nothing else I can do except restarting the kindle

Any tips, links, threads?

What happened to your access to Send to Kindle? Mine is still working on original Kindle touch?

the content sent by sent to kindle or email kindle- address just does not arrive to my Amazon cloud.

I sent this page content to my PW1 by "send to kindle" plugin from Chrome:




the content arrives into thje cloud but delivering it into PW1 device has been disabled

I found that my PW1 will show the Send to Kindle content in the Cloud view and I can download it on the PW1 from there.

As it says the Devices page for my PW1, "Device is no longer supported, Actions unavailable", I would not expect to be able to do anything from Amazon's web page.

I wouldnt count on it to last for long.
it is amazon official policy to discontinue the cloud acces for old kindles.
at first I also could download my content from the "in cloud view."
Now my reader shows nothing when switched to that mode.

that is why I i wrote in my first post in this thread:

"the time has arrived to jailbreak"

I really frequently used "the send to kindle" .
I hardlly ever read on PC or Mobile.

that is why Im fighting to get this functionality back.
I went for the Wallabag.org and Koreader syncing.

now Im fighting with KOreader settings on my jailbroken PW1
