Did you notice, that if you're subscribed to this thread, you get every morning an email to your mailbox with this subject - Bookeen Blog update.
That always gives me a kick and wakes me up from my half-sleep state until I remember it's the notification email from MR.

And you thought it's a note from Bookeen?

Boy... you really must've been dreaming...

"It's done, when it's done!" (As with all the computer games. BTW: Duke Nukem Forever is coming soon too...)

Not that I want you to - but you could unsubscribe !!!

(btw - anyone set to receive updates from the Bookeen blog - I was but didn't get any of their releases this year, and the feedburner link no longer appears to be active?. Of course their email subscription has been quiet, too).

Looking at the Weltbild FW I'd rather not say "It's *done* when it's done"

I'm only going by the fact that everytime I try to set up a new link, for the Bookeen blog, that the link to feedburner doesn't activate....

OK, let's say it's "rare".

Hopefully the finished FW will be "well done"...

I don't think Bookeen get's a Firmware done, you'd call "done". At least if it isn't done, there's also no harm done. Only the customers may be done for.

Over and done!

But they're doing us a favor, would we be chatting here like this if it weren't for the "medium rare" cybook FW? Like half the discussions in the cybook section are dealing with the new FW update or the old FW's shortcomings.
It's a new phenomenon, social interaction by means of an unfinished firmware.

Ha, and as I'm the first one to discover it, I get to name it and the name of it shall be...wait for it...cybookeenophrenia.

Nuh, sorry, cybookeenophrenia is what I call my patological neediness for new fw update.
I shall name it cybookeenologorrhea.

sounds extremely painful - but fear not, we know how to treat it, so we'll be safe - eventually ....

Who says I want to be treated? Can fun be treated? Coz I'm having heaps of it (fun) with this little affliction of mine.

In a lame attempt at a joke I overspeculated this. If you meant that the update will be the cure, then yes, I want to be treated. Not cured though. Hopefully bookeen will throw in a couple of bugs, so we have something to talk about till next update.

Abelturd, you really worry me. Don't forget your medication. And, no, I'm not speaking about writing another post in this thread.

Ok, so if the next FW release contains a couple of nasty bugs we all know that you pulled some strings at Bookeen...
Wait a moment --> NOW I know why this FW update is taking so insanely long and nobody at Bookeen can explain what is keeping them: You have put in motion some devious plan to keep Bookeen from releasing their FW so you would get us all here assembled chatting... Brilliant

And, no, please don't tell me that reality isn't as much fun as that and that I have just watched too much TV recently
