My issues with getting a KFX-Zip with my Oasis 10th Gen was entirely user error I'm afraid. I hadn't input my serial number correctly. I am sorry if I worried anyone.

Now I have amended it I can say that both the Oasis 10th Gen and the Voyage still get KFX files.

Thanks. That was definitely my assumption on seeing the reddit posts about not being able to jailbreak. No reason to release a new firmware unless they were changing the drm.

For the moment my jailbroken PW5 on 5.18.3 is still good, but time will tell.

I found the K4PC on the Microsoft site. Now, the question I have is will it work with DeDrm and Calibre the way things have in the past or is it too know at this time?

I just moved 8 books to Calibre on my non-jailbroken Oasis 3, and they were all successfully cleansed.

You are good for now but once all of the DRM holes have been plugged by Amazon using either firmware updates or the hack that updates only DRM, I wouldn’t be surprised if their next step was to block downloads to any device running outdated software.
