And so to see if on Kaleido 3 there is a dpi difference?
Yes, that's correct: I don't read comics/graphic novels at all. I am, however, thinking of checking out the Warren Magazines that I read in my teens and that I loved. I'm talking about Creepy and Eerie. I don't know where to obtain them, though. They were in black-and-white, and they were GREAT! I had an almost complete set of both of those magazines - a long, long time ago. They - along with H.P. Lovecraft, Arkham House, Robert E. Howard, Lin Carter, Clark Ashton Smith, Edgar Rice Burroughs, early Universal horror films, Magazine of Horror, Ballantine Adult Fantasy series, and etc. - helped shape my appreciation and love of all things Horror, Weird, and Fantastic.

Today, I'm totally ignorant of the current market involving comics/graphic novels.

I would not be inclined to take advice on color ereaders from someone who does not own one or someone who arbitrarily calls "all" color ereaders rubbish.

I own a Kindle Colorsoft SE and a Kobo Clara Colour. I like them both and I alternate using them. The Kindle is a little heavier than I like. The color on the Kindle is a little darker. I think that is just because of the flush screen.

The Kobo Clara Colour is smaller, lighter and easier to hold. The color is a little brighter.

I do not read any comics or manga but I love looking at the color covers in my library. I have several illustrated editions of books and I enjoy having color illustrations.

I don't believe that I will ever buy another black and white ereader. If Barnes & Noble puts out a color ereader with page turn buttons on both sides, I am sure I will buy it immediately.

This is just my view of color ereaders. YMMV

My view of color ereaders is that I own one, and for me it is complete rubbish [trash].

I would not recommend one at all.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

Colour e-readers are a real hot topic. I think the poll that was posted on Mobileread back then is still the one with the highest number of responses in recent times. If it’s still open, you can still take part, and that way we’ll get to hear some new opinions.

The color on the Kobo can be more detailed. The color on the Kindle can have less detailed and be more muddy. That's because that's the way graphics are on Kindle vs Kobo even without color.

Why is "I don't use eink at all" an answer when it's skews the percentages of the other answers? Also, it's irrelevant.

Never knew of those magazines; the ones on Internet Archieve aren't scanned too fine?

Wikipedia says:

In July 2009, Dark Horse Comics and New Comic Company LLC released the new Creepy magazine.[8] Edited by Shawna Gore and Dan Braun with Craig Haffner, it displayed the work of artists Bernie Wrightson, Angelo Torres, Saskia Gutekunst, and Jason Shawn Alexander illustrating scripts by Michael Woods,[9] Dan Braun, Joe Harris, and Bill DuBay.

Thanks for supplying the information on where to buy an issue of either Eerie or Creepy.

I usually think your opinions are good.

In my opinion seeing one in real life is enough and photos or especially videos can't properly show what they are like.
