I recently picked up a ebook from the University of Chicago. One item struck me as rather humourous:

Did I just have loosen 2.99$ because having merged two books in UK Kobo Store, having forgot that the payment's method was set to US, and one of the books wasn't awailable as in US' purchasings, via Paypal?
Edit: pardon (again), I was mistaking, the @2.99 wasn't added.

What about pen names? Many pen names continue on long after the original person(s) passed away. Witness Carolyn Keene, who per Wikipedia, is a collective pen name for a group of authors who worked on the series which began in 1930.

Another one is Jack McKinney, the pen name for James Luceno and Brian Daley, who wrote the Robotech novelizations and also books for Star Trek. The pen name was retired when Brian Daley passed away.
