Tab X C... Android compatibility obsolescence and lack of EMR pen

I want to get a Boox Tab X C.......but I'm concerned about spending over $850 ( with tax) on a device that is running 4 year old OS! And it doesn't have an EMR pen....
Frustrating!

Yep! Last summer, I was very-excited to dole-out $800 for the Tab XC when it was released ... UNTIL I saw that it had Android-13 just when Android-16 was announced ... I said NO THANKS. Android-13 was no longer supported by Google a few months ago ... less than a year after this device was released. NO THANKS!!!!
