It would probably be easier to remove the µSD card and resize the FAT32 partition with the card mounted directly on your computer. Resize2fs is only for ext2, ext3 or ext4 partitions so wouldn't help with the FAT32 partition. I've never used fatresize to resize a FAT32 partition on any machine so can comment on it.

Is there a method to disable epub precaching? Like plato is doing? Which opens huge documents without waiting

Does someone know why my menu items are so spread out? They used to be tighter lines, not sure what happened

KOReader Formatting Issues
Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but I am using KOReader on a Kobo Libra Colour so I think it's at least a little relevant here? But please direct me elsewhere if more appropriate.
Basically, I am ready a fanfiction that includes text messages, and the formatting in KOReader is messed up (Not sure if the images will show correctly here, but I have a similar post on Reddit where you can see the images: https://www.reddit.com/r/koreader/co...atting_issues/) Here's what it looks like in KOReader: And here is what it looks like on Calibre eBook viewer on desktop, rendered correctly: Anyone know why it's squished on KOReader and how to fix it? The text messages also look correct when I open this epub in native Kobo reader UI. Strangely enough, I changed Render Mode in KOReader from web to book and that seemed to help the text messages look more accurate to the intended formatting, but still not entirely correct (recipient name and datetime headers before texts are left-aligned instead of centered). This doesn't really make sense to me because the epub is a fic downloaded from AO3 so I would assume web should be the correct render mode? Anyway... any tips on the fix would be appreciated!

See ScrambleEbook. It'll be some unsupported CSS but the question is which exactly.

Long time Calibre user & have moved from Kindle (oasis) to Kobo Libra Color. With some helpful input from the Calibre forum I better understand the use of metadata & have been enjoying KOReader, it works well with Calibre. Primarily using instead of stock Kobo for sync to Readest/iPhone. However, there are a few issues I am struggling with & thought I would ask.
1. WiFi - this is not the background process I am used to. It is somewhat annoying to wait for connections (usually) when I wake up Kobo. I have changed some settings in KOReader but still a delay when it connects and always a foreground process. My goal would be for this to be an "invisible" background process like it is on stock Kobo. I usually leave it on to ensure things are synced. 2. Menus - I am reluctant to move away from stock menus as I want to learn the product but trying to optimize for reading only also. For example, is there a way to have a "simple tab" where I can put common items I use when reading? For example, night mode, rotation and a few others. Also, I am confused on the best way to only access the "bottom menu", currently have it set to auto but have to tap on the top and all menus display. 3. Firmware - I normally update but am I better off sticking to a version that works? Is there a recommendation for Kobo Libra color? Thanks in advance for any assistance. |
