Thanks Jon! Appreciate the guidance. Sorry for being a noob, but how do I request a post be deleted? An will remove the clean & strip section of the plug-in keeping the language cleaner as the primary function.

As a very new member, you might not have edit privileges yet.

Post an update as an attachment to a new comment in this thread, and one of the calibre mods will copy it to the first post.

Having different versions of a plugin zip sprinkled through the plugin threads is discouraged.


@JHAT - to edit your own posts/threads you need to increase your post count to 10 or more, simplest way to to that is to post some replies in the Lounge.

There are other 'language police' tools hosted at MR, the Language Tool shim for Sigil & Calibre editor will identify profanities, and offer to replace 'bad grammar', and there is (or was) a user contributed editor plugin (can't recall of it is/was for Sigil or calibre) that 'targetted' profane and blasphemous language.

USAGE

1. Select a book in your Calibre library
2. Select desired processing mode
3. If Free Mode, to check the word mapping, click "Customized Replacement Words" button. Double click a cell to change, click Save.
4. If AI Enhanced Mode, select Provider and click API Key Settings
5. Enter your API Key, Click Test Connection, Click Save.
6. Click ▶ Start

A summary report is shown when processing is complete.

NOTE: Both AI processes, run very well. OpenAI tends to run long (avg 25 minutes depending on the length of the book). Anthropic tends to run more quickly (avg 2 minutes depending on the length of the book). This is driven based on your Rate Limits (Tier of service purchased), coupled with Model Speed. Regardless, both cost about the same .10-.15 cents. I will continue to tweak performance, however, there is only so much I can do on the performance side for OpenAI without purchasing a higher tier.
