I am definitely now putting the Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theater on my iPhone to entertain me .... no doubt about that.

Thanks for quoting that, Zeepie. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.

currently reading this wonderful review of Angels & Demons, movie edition.
Quote:
It is such killing — undertaken by an anxious grad-student type in the service of an obscure cause — that naturally preoccupies the film’s scholarly hero, the Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon. Langdon, no favorite of the Holy See and long denied access to the Vatican archives, is summoned to Rome to assess, and then defuse, a deadly threat involving antimatter, papal succession and the ancient pro-science terrorist underground known as the Illuminati. You didn’t suspect the Illuminati? Nobody suspects the Illuminati. Except Robert Langdon of course.

Same here, 30 months. But at 52 it doesn't show much more difference than before, she's still more mature than I am.

Well, I know of a very non-vain lady, who hoped her husband would pass his next birthday before passing on --- so his obit would list him as the same age as she was! Both are now gone...

P.S. He *did* pass that birthday!

P.P.S. I've dated guys a few months to years younger than myself, too. So, either way, I guess!

Yups! There's one pub we go to sometimes that he has real difficulty in - the building dates back to the Tudor times (we slept there once - it has 4 or 5 guest rooms - and on the walls we were in were traces of wall painting from when the place was originally built!) so the doors anyway are low, but there's one part where there's an especially low beam on the ceiling, and a slight step just underneath it!

But if she feeds them well, I would suspect they will still be pretty tall. How old are they and do you get to see them often and give them lots of cuddles?
Good grief - I've just realised - they're 12 this year! It really doesn't seem that long ago since we first saw them in their incubators! They used to be quite small for their age, but the last time we saw them (a couple of months back) they were starting to shoot up.

Just about all of my team want to go and see Angels & Demons.

This is depsite none of them liking anything Dan Brown has written.

But - they do all like really bad movies...

On the subject of which - has the trailer for Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus been posted?

I'm at work, so naturally I'm just sitting around updating my new blog!

I was cleaning out my personal files going back +5 years, and found this continuing story I'd written for a now-defunct "Bonanza" fan fiction site.

I'd never finished it and when I came across it a few weeks ago, decided instead of deleting it, to update it and post it, chapter by chapter, in blog format.

Which may not be the ideal format, now that I'm looking at it, since you have to go back in the archives to find part 1, or read it backwards a la that "Seinfeld" episode. But I've already started so may as well go on.

Hopefully by the time I get to where I stopped 5 years ago, I'll have enough momentum to actually finish it!

If not - well, so far the hit count is pretty low (actually, I didn't even bother putting in a hit counter since it's just for fun), so my reputation should survive intact, regardless.

ooh, annoying. you're using a mac, aren't you ? for some reason, they put the superscript 1 everywhere instead of apostrophes. i don't know why. it drives me crazy too. hope you get it sorted.
