Download covers and metadata in Calibre has improved dramatically
Dear Kovid, dear developers.
I do not know what you did in the last few versions of Calibre, but the speed of the download of the covers and/or metadata suddenly improved very dramatically. I did not measure previous times so I can't give you a number, but it is very noticeable. I went through Release notes for the last few versions to try to understand what was improved, but I can't identify what the change was and when it happened. Thank you again. |

Most likely you were using some metadata source that was slow and that has now stopped working.
