Yes, for books bought from Amazon. You can still send books bought elsewhere to your account and then download them to the device, though, which is what I mostly do, so...

I’ve got that now. It’s 20.44 in the UK so I guess they are getting around to it now the USA has worked up.

I can also download personal documents. I have 630 personal ebooks I sent to Amazon. That’s actually work knowing.

I just tried an old Kindle Keyboard, and was able to download a purchased book as well as one that was purchased elsewhere and sent to the Kindle account.

edit - Never mind...the book I was able to download was actually *not* purchased from Amazon. Sorry for the confusion.

This is more than I expected. Just confirmed that Send to Kindle works on my Kindle Touch with a book from NetGalley. And also got the same message as above about a book from Amazon.

When I look at my docs on my content page at Amazon, the Touch is greyed out as a device to push them to. But no issue seeing my docs in the cloud and downloading with the Touch itself.

Not anymore. I did this about 3 hours ago. Now my kindle is greyed out.( 3 hours later. so maybe they were still updating servers . Sigh, I had got my hopes up.

Do you mean, for example if I sent to my kindle address from my email it would go directly ? I will try this and get back to you all

I mean, if you go to your cloud items on your Kindle and click on a personal document, will it download? I don't mean on your computer.

Yes, this still works. All of my personal docs are visible from my Kindle Touch and I can download them.
