Library list

Is it possible to list the library books without the cover, but with author, title and series? For me, that would allow more books per screen as I scan through them.

I think so. Just like the library list is now, but without the covers and adding the authors. I don't care about the tags. For example,

Amazing Mrs Pollifax, Gilman, Dorothy, Mrs Pollifax #2
Unexpected Mrs Pollifax, Gilman, Dorothy, Mrs Pollifax #1 - if sorted by title

Gilman, Dorothy

Right now, sorted by author, I only get 4 books per screen. And the authors show duplicate with each series separate. Ex. Gilman, Dorothy has listed all her books with each showing (Mrs Pollifax #1) then duplicated Gilman, Dorothy (Mrs Pollifax #2) etc. with the book name under it along with the series name again. How you list them under sort by series (without the covers) is more what I'm thinking of.

I'm trying to have more books per screen, so you might have better ideas. Or it may be too much trouble and that's ok also.

OK, that can be done as an extension (or in this case reduction) of the list view. I am thinking I will make this configurable, just like grid view is (where you can select what data you want to show for a book).

Just to make it all about complete.
Not the grid view is customizable only on ipad, but I think it will make sense to make it customizable also on iphone.
Meaning even the list should be customizable on both: ipad and iphone, right?

I only have an Ipad, but the iphone folks might like it also.
