Developers, Please Let Me Pick Your Brains!

I used Claude to create a TBR web app and, for the most part, it's working to my satisfaction. I wanted to also access the app on my iPad (as a webpage on my home screen) and I used Netlify to accomplish that.

The webpage I'm using in the Edge browser on my computer already has all my books loaded up and the next part was to get the books to show on the webpage on my iPad. Claude had created export and import options for the .json file and led me to believe it would be a simple matter of saving the .json file to the Files app on my iPad, tapping the Import button on the webpage, selecting the file and, presto, the bookshelves would populate. What presto?!

Claude has had me back and forth, tweaking and tweaking, and I've uploaded about 10 versions of the app, trying to get it to work, and nothing. Being a total noob, I'm wondering if Claude has been leading me on a wild chicken chase. So, is it even possible to import a .json file into a webpage from the iPad? If it is, any suggestions on how to get this to work? I'll pay y'all in karma
