I still haven't watched Ready or Not, as I had planned. Instead I tried to watch Apartment 7A, with Julia Garner. But I switched it off half way through, not because the story was bad, but because the voice Dianne Wiest used wast just too grating for me.

We've finished The Artful Dodger, which was okay and we're now watching The Other Bennet Sister, which I'm enjoying.

I also finally finished Scarpetta, that it took me three weeks to finish eight episodes says enough. The personal storylines were more important than the storylines about the crimes.

We've finished The Other Bennett Sister, which we both enjoyed very much and have moved on to The 'Burbs, a series based on the Tom Hanks movie, starring Keke Palmer. We're both enjoying it. It doesn't take itself too seriously and the mystery is fun.

I've just watched 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. I really liked it, which is no surprise. It's bloodier than 28 Years Later (2025), but it's still a very human story. I'm currently listening to The Last Podcast on the Left's series on Jimmy Savile, which is knowledge about the man that they do not have in the 28 X universe. Also Ralph Fiennes doing a kind of interpretive dance on Iron Maiden's The Number of the Beast was not, as they say, on my bingo card for 2026.

My sister's on vacation until the 21st, so I'm taking that time to catch up on watching some movies she's not interested in (mostly horror). I also want to rewatch Harper's Island, I'm glad I kept the DVD, since it's not available on streaming in my region.

Tonight I'm going to catch up on the latest episode of Widow's Bay, which is slowly growing on me.

Watched the Swedish Millennium series - can't do the books justice in 170 minutes each but still a pretty good noir thriller.

Tried to watch Netflix's new series based on the Man on Fire movie. I gave up after two and a half episodes. The performances all felt phoned in.

Yesterday I started my rewatch of Harper's Island. It feels a bit dated, with the clothing, make-up and phones, but it's still a fun watch.

I didn't watch a movie yesterday because I went to a concert. But tonight I'm planning to watch Undertone. I've made a list of movies I want to watch for the next eight days.

I already have. Hence my interest in the new series. The series is a completely different story than the movie.

On Sunday I watched Undertone, which was creepy. Tonight I finally watched Ready or Not, which I really liked and I will probably get it on Blu-Ray if I can find a good deal.

Tomorrow I'll be visiting my parents after work, so it'll probably be too late to watch a full movie when I get back. I'm not sure which movie I want to watch next, probably Black Phone 2 or Practical Magic.

Right now it's only 6.30 pm so I'm going to watch the latest episode of Widow's Bay before continuing with Harper's Island.

I've been watching Season 1 of The Pitt on HBO Max. I'm on episode 11. I also watched the 2026 Wuthering Heights tonight. I wasn't going to see it after reading the book a few months ago, but it came up on HBO Max. I'm not a fan of the movie.

I saw the movie Wuthering Heights. I actually liked it.
