Is that a battery access door on the back?

It does appear to be a 'battery compartment' door on the bottom of the back side of the reader. In the photo of every color stacked, you can see a Mini-USB port and headphone jack on the bottom. In the 360 view you can see four discrete buttons on the left edge, a bi-directional rocker button on the right edge and an omni-directional switch on the face. The SD slot either has to be on the top or in the 'battery compartment', but I can't find an image of the top. An online user manual would help sales by answering some of these questions. |

Letter sized PDF is not suitable for a 6" screen.

Thanks to engadget for the screen shots. It looks like a nice little device, although choosing between it and the Sony may be tough (unless you love one of the colors).

From Engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2009/05/14/i...for-e-readers/ Looks like Vizplex and seems to be running FBReader. Pricing about $250 USD. |

Dale - The wiki says there is no mention of audio support. The pictures I've seen show a 2.5mm audio jack on the bottom and the optional accessories include headphones. Some of the pictures look like they have audio options in the menu.

The specifications don't show any support for audio. I have a audio jack on my eBookwise but it does not have any audio support. The hardware from Netronix has support but the software is not Netronix based so it is not clear to me. However, offering headphones could be an indicator. I hope they clear this up. edit: I see in the FAQ they have MP3 support. I will fix the wiki. Dale | |
