Hi, I would like to request the firmware image for a Kobo N418 Libra 2.

The device is stuck after DRM errors — it does not boot past a flashing LED and white/black screen flash, manual factory reset using the page-turn buttons does not work, and the device is not detected by Windows over USB.

Since there are five hardware revisions for the N418, here is the board code from my motherboard:
37NB-E70K1M+6F0

I have PMs enabled. Thank you!

Hello,

My Kobo Glo seems bricked: I have only fixed blue led when I want to turn on it.
I have tried all to wake up it but without result.
I have open my Kobo but I need a SD card image.

Is it possible to get an image to fix it?
Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to recover an old Kobo Touch device with serial number starting with N905J2A.
Unfortunately I accidentally formatted the internal microSD card partitions while troubleshooting, and now the device no longer boots.

The device still shows signs of life (green LED, screen refreshes black/white briefly), so I believe it only needs the correct SD card image restored.

Would anyone happen to have a working SD image for a Kobo Touch N905 / N905B / N905C model with internal microSD storage?

Even an older backup image would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for any help!

If you see your message has been edited to include Request to enable PMs has been made, your PMs were not enabled and a request has been made to enable them.

@Kitty17: please note that posting 2 new threads and multiple messages in this thread asking for the same image is very annoying behaviour. Please read the FAQ item on duplication.

Hi and thanks everyone for helping: my son NIA has a corrupted SD, probably bricked with the last firmware update, no way to restore it by manual reset.
I disassembled the e-reader and removed the SD card, but it's completely corrupted and unreadable.
Does anyone have an image of the SD card to try to get the reader working?

Thanks

Hello,

I have a not booting Kobo Clara HD, and I hope it's only a sd-card issue.
So please, I need a full µSD card image.

How can I know which kind of Kobo (Clara HD / Clara HD rev. B) I have ?
Any indication on the PCB ?

Thank in advance for your answer !

HI there,

I seem to be in the same boat as lot of other people with corrupted SD cards. I tried the manual firmware update and its completely wiped the device and the partition table is showing errors.

Can i get the full image of the Kobo Clara 2E?

Thanks in advance
