Following steps 2-3, switching, and checking Favorites Menu, I see the challenge name, so I think it may be specific to AC.

Bug fix: restore hover behavior in the monthly readings graph: for some reason the new version of WebEngine was not working correctly with CSS hover event, so now we use JS to mimic the same behavior;
Bug fix: detect negative progress and alert the user in the tooltip;

Problem: For fanfics that aren't complete yet, I only add them to Reading Goal once they finish and Im done reading them. This results in the monthly page-chart jumping up 2000+ pages in one day (when I've been reading the fic for years) and badly skewiing it.

Possible solution? An option to not add pages for books with only 1 entry.

Try the attached version. There is a new option in the Graphs tab.

Version 2.1.1 - 09 Apr 2026

New option in the Graphs tab: Ignore one entry finished books in the montly/daily graph. It only afects the page count in those graphs. The total page count and related statistics remain untouched. The goal here is to avoid spikes in the daily graph.

I have just found a major bug in Reading Goal.

If you bring up the statistics in a library where you have no configured Reading Goal, it brings up a backup error and then when you do go to a library where you have configured Reading Goal, it brings up a backup error and wants you to start over.

Altough it's a harmless error (the error goes away on a second try, because it creates the database file after the first error), I'll fix it.

I have 2026 or all. That's it. I do have a .json file with 2025 in it. I can send you my json files if you want to see what's going on.

Somehow the filename changed for the json file. So I had a 2025/2026 json and a 2026 jason. I copied 2025 and put it in the current json. Now it works. I have 2025 and 2026.

One thing I have noticed by looking in the calibre preferences directory is that I have multiple json files in different directories. Have you been changing the location where things go and the json filename? If not, how did it happen?

I think thiago changed the RG json to be library-specific some time ago, by adding string to end.

I have some changes I'd to have made please.

One is I'd like a maximize button on the main window to go from the size it is to full screen and back. Also, I'd like a graph for the entire year by month.

Do you think that caused the problem of a new json with just 2026 even though I have a json with 2025 and some 2026?

I'm not sure. I once came across an obscure bug that copied all the previous years books into current year, so maybe you found a similar one.
