Well this is definitely not a slow device and for sure faster than my phone, which is my main device for testing. So if my phone can handle those ~3700 in ~2 minutes, there is no reason for M5 iPad Pro to not handle this amount in even better time.
Please let me know with 2.4.2. |

Syncing back and forth between my iPad and Calibre is working very well for me. However, I seem to have lost the sync between my iPad and iPhone since updating both devices to 2.4. Any tips on reestablishing that sync?

Hello, do you please have both updated to the same version (as there were two minors in 2.4: 2.4.1 and 2.4.2)? I am still using both ipad and iphone and two other devices (in simulator) without any change in sync.

Hi lbrockmueller, the 2.4 update didn't change anything in the iCloud sync code, what likely happened is one of these, in order of probability:
1. iOS update at the same time. iOS 26.4 had a CloudKit push-delivery delay that Apple fixed in minor updates, do you have please that latest iOS update 26.4.2? The app already nudges sync on a timer while it's open, but if you only launch briefly, the push may not arrive in time. Workaround: open the app on the device that's behind, leave it on the Library tab for 30–60 seconds on Wi-Fi. 2. Sync engine state out of sync on one device. Inside the app, go to Library → tap the stats icon (chart) → CLOUD SYNC section. Toggle iCloud Sync off, wait ~5 seconds, toggle it back on. That destroys and recreates the engine and forces a fresh fetch. 3. Check Sync History. Same panel, Sync History button. Compare the last few entries on iPhone vs iPad, that tells me which device stopped pushing or pulling. 4. Background App Refresh. Settings → General → Background App Refresh → make sure it's on globally and on for justRead. If it's off, the device only syncs when you manually open the app. I think you have it on, just to be sure. If the toggle off/on doesn't bring it back, send me a screenshot of the SYNC STATUS rows (engine status, iCloud account, last synced) from both devices please. That tells me which side is stuck. |

As of the latest update, it seems like the pop-up menu when long pressing to highlight a word is t working correctly. It often doesn’t appear until after multiple attempts.

Hello gustophersmob, this is something not touched from 2.2 and tested on multiple devices now and no problems here.

After reading for a couple of hours, book won't go to next page (neither touch nor swipe). I restarted ipad, restarted JustRead, updated JustRead to 2.4.2, still won't go to the next page in that book. |
