Kindle Oasis - Side by Side Books

I own a Kindle Oasis and have a very specific use case that I have been having trouble solving.

I basically want to read the same book in two different languages simultaneously. I have seen books where one paragraph is in Language A and right below it the same paragraph is in Language B. Sadly, this won't do it for me.

What I am looking for is a straightforward way to have the book in Language A on the left side and the book in Language B on the right side of my screen. I would also be content with a one-click solution that would swap between books.

I do not have KOReader installed, but am willing to do so if it's the only way to achieve this.

That sounded interesting so I did a search. No idea whether this would work for you, but have you seen this?

You cannot do this on a Kindle or with KOReader.

Thank you. Is this doable on a Kobo or any other device? I Know that Boox has this functionality, but I am really trying to explore all the options before doing a purchase.

I would just use two devices, or something that lets you run apps side by side.

While it is theoretically possible to format a single book with a column for each language and matching paragraphs (e.g. in <table>), even a script might not work perfectly and entail a lot of correction; manually would really be too much work.

And on a 7" screen there will be a lot of whitespace and short lines of text even if you could have books side by side. Quick switch wouldn't be very pleasant since you really need to see more than short term memory can handle.

Actually, I have an idea. You can do it as a PDF. You just have to make the PDF screen sized with no margins and the text the size you want.
