I have written smaller helper programs for my own use

Epub preview

Installation:
extract to a folder of your choice
Start a command prompt with administrator rights
(Search for cmd, open the command line on the desktop, right click and run as administrator)
navigate to the dll directory with the command line
type in the command line:

regsvr32.exe epub_handler.dll
**************************************************

The same can be done with the /u switch
It's a good idea to close all open Explorer windows before uninstalling

regsvr32.exe /u epub_handler.dll
**************************************************
System requirements Vista/Win7 or Win10

Translation
You can find it in a zip file by editing 'lang.ini'

EpubOrganizer

To sort Epub files into a folder. By reading the Author and Title of the files in the Epub metadata
renames it and copies it to the output folder. If a file with this name already exists, the copy will not be created.
Usage: Drag the epub file or the folder containing epubs onto it.
It is integrated into the Windows Explorer menu using the registration button.

Technical Info
The following elements are converted from the Docx file:
- Bold, Italic, Underline, Double Underline
- Subscript, Superscript
- Alignment: Left, Right, Center, Justified
- Hyperlinks and Bookmarks
- Images (jpg, jpeg, gif)
- Headings (Level 1-3): Converted to H1-H3 tags and included in the Table of Contents (TOC).
- The application splits xhtml files at H1 tags; if no headings are found, it splits files at 256 KB.
- Fonts and colors are not converted.
- The default font in the EPUB file is 'Georgia', serif;. This can be modified in the EPUB's CSS file.

EPUB Metadata
- Title: [Title here]
- Identifier: Auto-generated GUID
- Language: Default is 'hu' (Hungarian)

How to Use
Simply drag and drop your Docx file onto the application. If you drop multiple files, a progress bar will appear, which you can stop at any time. The EPUB file is created in the same folder as the source Docx file. By default, existing EPUB files will be overwritten, but this can be disabled.

After a successful conversion, you can open the resulting EPUB file directly from the list (Blue link) using your system's default EPUB reader, or open the containing folder (Yellow link).
